
Pathway to Certification at the PSI Conference
To qualify to take the PMH-C Exam, applicants must complete foundational and advanced training, in addition to meeting education and experience requirements.
PSI offers the required pre-requisite training ahead of the PSI Annual conference.
Opportunities for PMH-C pre-requisite training at the PSI Annual Conference
1. 14-Hour Foundational Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Training Requirement

2. 6-Hour Advanced Training Course Options:
Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychopharmacology
- Meets the Advanced Training pre-requisite for the Psychopharmacology track.
- Attendees must have first completed a 14-hour PMD certificate course.

Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy

Affiliated Professionals
- PSI Annual Conference breakout sessions count towards meeting the 6-hour advanced training pre-requisite for Affiliated Professionals only.
- When registering for the PSI Annual Conference, be sure to include the fee for CE credits to obtain the documentation required for the PMH-C application.
