The PSI Advanced Trainings provided via Zoom adhere to Certification guidelines and meet the requirements for the advanced prerequisite for the exam application.
Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy
PSI’s Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy Training is an evidence-based curriculum designed for mental health and psychotherapy providers who have previously completed at least fourteen hours of perinatal mental health training. This advanced training covers differential diagnosis, evidence-based psychotherapeutic approaches, and advanced therapeutic issues. It combines expert presentation with case studies, group discussion, and practical examples of treatment approaches.
The PSI Advanced perinatal mental health certificate is an approved pre-requisite to register for the perinatal mental health certification exam (this course can be completed in-person or online). Below are the scheduled advanced psychotherapy courses. More will be scheduled throughout the year – Sign up for PSI emails to keep in touch.
The 2-Day PMD Components of Care or the MMH Webinar series qualify as prerequisites for this Advanced Psychotherapy training. Learn more about the 2-day training here.
