
Ivy Sias, LPC, PMH-C
Ivy Sias is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and Louisiana, Certified in
Perinatal Mental Health, and the founder of Ivy Counseling & Wellness Services,
LLC, a private practice specializing in perinatal mental health, women’s mental
wellness, and life transitions.
Ivy has been a member of myriad committees and advisory boards that focus on
compassionate care and diversity, equity, and inclusion for birthing people, and
promote policies and practices at the local and national level that reflect this care
initiative. Some of these organizations include Maternal Mental Health Leadership
Alliance, the Louisiana Maternal Mortality Review Committee, and PSI. Ivy is
devoted to improving the perinatal mental health of Black people and people of other
underrepresented communities, and she strives to ensure they always have a voice in
spaces where mental health is being discussed. Ivy has been featured in several
magazines, on the national news, and in podcasts, and has participated in many talks,
training events, and interviews about maternal mental health. She is dedicated to
promoting conversations about mental health, building resources that support the
intricate layers of parenthood, and helping underserved populations through therapy,
training, and advocacy.
