Kiki Kalkstein
Kiki Kalkstein is a Certified Peer Specialist dedicated to supporting parents experiencing perinatal mental health challenges. Before entering the perinatal mental health field, she spent more than fifteen years working in global health policy and advocacy, government relations, and coalition building to advance equitable health care for underserved communities. Kiki’s commitment to this work is deeply personal—her own experiences with perinatal mental health challenges after the births of her two daughters continue to guide her passion for supporting other parents. She also serves as a policy consultant with the Policy Center for Maternal Mental Health, analyzing state and federal policies that strengthen maternal mental health systems, and provides peer support for NICU families at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC.
