
Bianca Hamilton, LMSW, MM, MT-BC
Bianca Hamilton, LMSW, MM, MT-BC – a community servant, Board-Certified Music Therapist of 10 years, Licensed Social Worker, and certified holistic birth doula by Birth Arts International since 2021. She received training from Postpartum Support International, Group Peer Support, and Saybrook University as a Maternal Mental Health Advocate. Through her personal experiences of high-risk pregnancies, perinatal loss, motherhood, and navigating postpartum mental health in rural settings, Bianca has become an advocate championing the birthing families of the unheard- those residing in rural/ healthcare deserts and on the fringes of society through her business, Souls in Singchrony.
Bianca has been professionally engaged with Postpartum Support International, both as an employee and volunteer, since 2022, particularly supporting the English Helpline and PSI Peer Support Groups. Bianca also serves as the Operations Manager for Frontline Doulas, a non-profit entity empowering families of the African Diaspora through community initiatives centering the needs of Black Community Doulas; and educates and advocates for the Medicaid reimbursement process for California Doulas. Other professional commitments include supporting hospice patients at the bedside as a Music Therapist on-call and serving as a community-based therapist with Open Door Talk, LLC, specializing in CBT, Perinatal Mental Health, Women’s Issues, Stress and Burnout, and Bi-Racial/Multi-Racial Identity Development. In Bianca’s free time, she enjoys being a wife, boy-mommy, supporting reproductive justice initiatives, being a musician and sound healer, and tending to her garden.
