“Working at PSI is vital, because it ensures that families are supported through one of life’s most transformative and vulnerable seasons. By prioritizing perinatal mental health, we not only strengthen the well-being of parents, but also lay the foundation for healthier, more resilient children and communities. No parent should feel alone in pregnancy or postpartum. Supporting mental health is supporting healing and hope.”
Taleah Gholston is a dedicated leader in perinatal support and femtech innovation, with experience supporting families as a birth doula, managing teams of doulas, building expansive provider networks, and assistant managing more than 50 virtual support groups focused on pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and loss. Taleah began working at PSI in support groups from 2021-2023, serving as Assistant Manager at the height of her tenure. After a 1.5-year departure, Taleah returned to PSI in 2025, serving on the marketing communications team.
Beyond her professional work, Taleah is a mother of a spirited daughter and the sweetest rainbow baby boy. As a loss survivor who miscarried her son in 2022, she brings both lived experience and professional expertise to her mission: ensuring families feel supported, seen, and never alone through the many stages of pregnancy and parenthood.
