Completion Requirements: Attendees must attend the full training to receive continuing education credits and a certificate of completion.

Continuing Education Credits

  • Physician CMEs: The AAFP has reviewed Perinatal Loss: Clinical and Supportive Care Advanced Training and deemed it acceptable for up to 12.00 Live AAFP Prescribed credits. Term of Approval is from 10/25/2024 to 10/25/2025. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. AMA/AAFP Equivalency: AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1. These CMEs can be applied by Nurse Midwives and Advanced-practice Nurses.
  • Nurses: approved for 13.5 hours. This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by Oregon Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Approval valid through 2/25/2027. OCEAN ID #2025-17
  • Psychologists: 13.5 hours. Postpartum Support International (PSI) is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Postpartum Support International (PSI) maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

Social workers completing this course receive 13.5 clinical continuing education credits.
  • Counselors: 13.5 hours. Postpartum Support International has been approved by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6765. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Postpartum Support International is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

Continuing education certificates will be emailed approximately three weeks after the training event.
