(she/her) Kerri is a mother, daughter, sister and partner residing in Portland, Oregon. She is originally from the Midwest and she is a citizen of The Sault Sainte Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, mixed with French-Canadian, English, Irish, and German. Kerri has worked for over 20 years with people experiencing houselessness, people with mental illnesses, People Who Use Drugs(PWUD), and people with Traumatic Brain Injuries. Kerri is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with lived experience with PPMAD, pregnancy loss, and traumatic birth. Kerri feels so grateful for the opportunity to advocate for the needs of birthing BIPOC people and for the thoughtful wisdom of each member who, together, complete the critical work of this council.
