Brittany Welch
Brittany first got involved with PSI when she was recovering from postpartum PTSD during her second pregnancy. She experienced severe preeclampsia during her two pregnancies and requires medical intervention for both. PSI support groups were there for her daily in the weeks leading up to and after her second son was born.
In 2022 Brittany became a Climb leader in her community and began sharing resources with other perinatal parents in the Central Valley of California. By 2023, she committed to supporting PSIs mission by joining the California Chapter Board of Directors, becoming a support group facilitator, and joining the Climb Central team as West Coast Regional Manager.
Brittany uses her last experience as a special education teacher to lead her climb and parent her two young rambunctious sons. You can find Brittany in local Zumbini classes, at the library, playing at the park, growing her chaos garden, or hiking local river trails when she isn’t working with PSI.
