
Ashley Tabata, MA, MSW, LSW, PMH-C
Ashley Tabata, MA, MSW, LSW, is the Chapters Program Communications and Administrative Assistant. After experiencing a second-trimester loss in 2019, through her healing journey, Ashley aligned with advocating for Perinatal Mental Health and Perinatal Loss. She returned to school for Social Work and hopes to transition her company into a Yoga and Therapy practice. In 2021, she joined the Board of Directors for PSI-IL as the Social Justice and Advocacy Lead. She is a Licensed Social Worker and Therapist at Thrive Postpartum, Couples, and Family Therapy.
Ashley has a unique background in marketing and is a yoga facilitator. Before transitioning to the Social Work field, Ashley worked in Marketing and Business Development for over 15 years in multiple disciplines. She has a Master’s in Social Work from Aurora University and a Master’s in Mass Communication from the University of Central Missouri.
In her free time, Ashley loves yoga, family bike rides, horseback riding, cooking and baking, and reading books. She loves spending time and creating experiences with her husband, three earthside kids, her angel baby, and her two fur pups.
Ashley is passionate about building community and hopes to create trustworthy spaces for people to honor their capacity and embrace their human experience.
