
Nikki Speer
Nikki Speer serves as the Chief Development Officer for Postpartum Support International (PSI), where she leads the organization’s fundraising strategy to expand support for parents and families facing perinatal mental health challenges. Since first partnering with PSI in 2019 as a consultant, Nikki has played a key role in building fundraising capacity, strengthening donor engagement, and positioning PSI as the global leader in addressing awareness and access gaps for PMH.
With nearly 25 years of diverse fundraising experience, Nikki specializes in helping nonprofits scale their operations, enhance sustainability, and achieve transformational growth. She is the Founder of nonprof.io, a boutique fundraising consultancy, and has successfully led development efforts for organizations including water.org, the International Planned Parenthood Federation, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation, and Hôpital Albert Schweitzer Haiti. Her expertise spans individual philanthropy, corporate and foundation partnerships, major gift fundraising, and mission-aligned brand collaborations.
A mother, feminist, eternal optimist, and a person with lived experience with prenatal depression, Nikki is deeply committed to ensuring that every parent has access to the mental health care they need, when they need it most. She believes in the power of philanthropy to drive lasting change and is honored to work alongside PSI’s dedicated team and community.
Nikki lives in East Grand Rapids, Michigan, with her husband, two sons.
