Maria Schimmel, PCD(DONA), PMH-C
Maria Schimmel holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Rochester College and brings over a decade of experience in Crisis Intervention as a Crisis Response Specialist on national levels and within her local communities. From 2021-2025, she dedicated her expertise to the National 988 Lifeline and National Maternal Mental Health Hotline, where her commitment to maternal mental health and Postpartum Support International blossomed, leading to certifications in Postpartum Doula care, Victim Advocacy, and PMH-C. She has 3 children and was personally impacted by placenta accreta with her youngest child.
In her free time, Maria and her family will always be found watching nightly movies with popcorn!
