
Renee Patton
Renee is the Special Projects Manager for the Alliance for People of Color at Postpartum Support International, where she leverages her expertise in translation, language access, technology and learning management systems to empower the Perinatal Mental Health community. Her work is driven by a deep commitment to cultural connection and ensuring equitable access to vital resources for communities of color.
In addition to her role at Postpartum Support International, Renee owns a business, Local Lengua that provides translation and language education services. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish from Winthrop University and a Master’s Degree in Spanish with a Translation Studies focus from UNC Charlotte.
Renee lives in South Carolina with her husband and son. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys reading, singing, learning new line dances, and exploring local farmers markets.
