1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 11:30AM (EST)
Discover the benefits of yoga at your own pace with a beginner-friendly class for pregnant and postpartum parents. In this 60-minute offering, a PSI facilitator trained in perinatal yoga will guide you through mindful movement, focused breathing, and yoga poses for all trimesters, including the postpartum period.
Having a comfortable space with props like yoga blocks, bolsters, blankets, pillows, seated furniture, and walls is encouraged to participate in full-body flows that are mobilizing and stabilizing. Classes will begin with introductions and education about perinatal yoga and then end with a beginner-friendly yoga class. Children and babies are welcome in classes.
Please note that before registering for a perinatal yoga class/support group with Postpartum Support International (PSI), you must receive clearance from your medical provider to engage in physical activity and agree to the conditions in the Agreement of Release and Waiver Liability form that can be found here.
