Volunteer with us!

We share stories. We celebrate recovery. We bring communities together.
We raise funds & awareness for the mental health of families.

Climb events are organized entirely by volunteers who help make PSI’s vision a reality – that every family worldwide will have access to information, social support, and informed professional care for mental health issues related to childbearing.

Climb Leaders are trained volunteers of PSI

and should have the capacity for the following:
  • 1-3 Hours/Week

Your volunteer hours will vary depending on the number of Climb Leaders on your team & proximity to the event date.

  • 9-12 Month Commitment

Your volunteer commitment will begin when the Climb Leader Application is submitted, and will end after completing all required post-Climb Event tasks.

  • Fundraising

You will fundraise by reaching out to family, friends, and folks in your community to ask for a charitable donation or sponsorship of your event. You will share that we fundraise so PSI and its Chapters can continue providing: free resources to families, specialized training to providers, and volunteers to bridge the gap between the two.

  • Raising Awareness

You will raise awareness by reaching out to family, friends, and folks in your network to share about Perinatal Mental Health Disorders (PMHD), about the Climb Event that you’re hosting, and about the many PSI resources available to parents, professionals & support people. Your help increasing awareness prevents perinatal mental health conditions from remaining undiagnosed, unsupported, and untreated in your community!
