Perinatal Psychosis Task Force
Lindsay Allred is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who specializes in perinatal mental health. While she was a bedside nurse, she worked mostly in obstetrics and found that she enjoyed the psychosocial aspect of working with new families. Lindsay had postpartum anxiety and depression after the birth of her first child and has found that working with moms has helped heal her own mental health. Lindsay also co-leads Team West Georgia’s Climb and a local postpartum support group. She lives in West Georgia with her husband and three kids.
