Laudy Burgos, LCSW, PMH-C
Laudy Burgos is adjunct-directeur maatschappelijk werk bij de vrouwen- en kinderdivisie van het Mount Sinai-ziekenhuis. In deze hoedanigheid geeft zij leiding aan de maatschappelijk werkers op de polikliniek, opnameafdelingen en de faculteitspraktijk op de afdeling gynaecologie/gynaecologie. Haar specialiteit is de behandeling van perinatale stemmingsstoornissen. Ze is ook co-coördinator voor de staat New York Postpartum Support International. Laudy heeft gepresenteerd op diverse nationale en internationale sociaal werkconferenties en is auteur en co-auteur van talrijke studies en academische papers.
Laudy is docent aan de Icahn School of Medicine op Mount Sinai, Columbia University School of Social Work en NYU Silver School of Social Work. Ze is afgestudeerd aan de New York University Silver School of Social Work. Ze is lid van de National Association of Social Workers en de National Association of Perinatal Social Workers.
